The Jefferson Fire District is located 20 miles south of the state capitol, Salem Oregon, in the mid-Willamette Valley. The district serves a population of approximately 9,200 in 87 square miles. The district is primarily a rural setting with close access to I-5. The Pacific Ocean to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east are just over an hour away
